Cambridge United look for their third consecutive victory when they travel to Stadium MK to face Milton Keynes Dons.

Wins over AFC Wimbledon and Morecambe have put the U's in 10th place in EFL League One while the Dons sit seventh following a 4-1 triumph over Crewe Alexandra.

Team news

Troy Parrott is on international duty for the Republic of Ireland so will miss out. Ethan Robson is expected to feature after returning last week following a month on the sidelines.

Two positive Covid-19 tests in the Dons squad forced a group of players to self-isolate last week and miss the FA Cup tie against Stevenage, but it is unknown whether they will be able to return on Saturday.

Cambridge are still to be without Greg Taylor and Liam O'Neil through injury, but Jack Lankester is set to return following the birth of his son. Defender George Williams, who made over 150 appearances for the Dons, will feature against his former side.

Predicted lineups

Milton Keynes Dons: Fisher; Lewington, O'Hora, Darling; Harvie, Kasumu, O'Riley, Kioso; McEachran; Twine, Eisa

Cambridge United: Mitov; Dunk, Masterson, Iredale, Okedina; Digby; Brophy, Worman, Weir, Knibbs; Ironside

Ones to watch

Scott Twine (Milton Keynes Dons)

Having spent last season a division below with both Newport County and Swindon Town, the 22-year-old was drawing interest from teams in the Championship, but chose to sign with the Buckinghamshire outfit.

His acquisition has proven to be a smart one so far, having contributed six goals and two assists in 15 appearances.

George Williams (Cambridge United)

As mentioned above, the defender was with MK Dons for five and a half years and departed for the U's before the start of this season. His experience at this level has proven to be key for the Cambridge defense and he will no doubt receive a warm welcome back to his former club.

Previous meetings

The last matchup between the two sides won't make for pretty reading for Cambridge fans as MK Dons thrashed the U's 6-0 in 2019 when both teams were in League Two.

Rhys Healey, Kieran Agard and Chuks Aneke gave the Dons a 3-0 lead inside of 12 minutes. Healey grabbed his second in the 63rd minute while Agard did the same 13 minutes later and Osman Sow closed out the scoring five minutes from time.

How to watch

The match will not be shown on television in the UK, but both teams’ iFollow channels will have live audio coverage. For MK Dons, it's ‘iFollow MK Dons’ and for Cambridge, ‘iFollow the U's’.

A live stream of the game can be purchased on those services for those outside of the UK and Ireland. Kick-off is set for 15:00 GMT.
