Stoke City's form has improved in recent weeks, with three wins in their last five games as they make a late surge to finish in the top half of the Championship table.

The Potters' last game was a comprehensive 3-1 away win against West Brom, with an own goal and strikes from Jacob Brown and Lewis Baker.

Michael O'Neill's side sit in 15th position in the standings, two points from the Albion in 12th.

Bristol City have endured a season of transition under Nigel Pearson after sitting in the bottom six of the table for the majority of the campaign, as they currently sit 19th.

The Robins have won just one of their last eight games, with two draws and five losses.

Their last game was a 1-1 draw to bottom of the table Peterborough United after a late Posh equaliser.

  • Ones to watch

Lewis Baker

Baker arrived in North Staffordshire in January, and his good form since joining has seen him win the club's Player of the Month award for February. He departed Chelsea in the window after being contracted with the club since 2014, making just two appearances in that time.

His most notable loan spells have been at Vitesse, Reading and Trabzonspor, where he picked up a Turkish Super Cup medal in 2020. The 26-year-old has scored eight goals and notched two assists in his first 16 league games for Stoke, despite being employed in a box-to-box midfield role.

Andreas Weimann

Weimann has been the shining light in a tough season for Bristol City, and is enjoying his best season in a Robins shirt after joining from Derby County in 2018. Most known for his spell at Aston Villa in the Premier League, he has also played 16 times for his native Austria.
