Hull City look to maintain their unbeaten start to the EFL Championship season as they host Norwich City.

The Tigers played out a goalless draw against Preston North End last Saturday following a dramatic opening-day victory over Bristol City that has seen them take four points from those two contests.

One of the favorites to gain automatic promotion, the Canaries have taken just one point from their two fixtures, a 1-0 defeat to Cardiff City followed by a 1-1 draw against Wigan Athletic.

Hull have enjoyed recent success in this fixture, going unbeaten in their last four at home against Norwich (two wins, two draws).

Team news

Hull City

Manager Shota Arveladze has confirmed that Ryan Longman will miss out with midfielder Greg Docherty and forward Tyler Smith also sidelined.

Nathan Baxter (dislocated finger), Brandon Fleming and summer signing Dogukan Sinik (calf) are all out while Callum Elder will regain his spot at left wing-back.

Norwich City

Dean Smith is expected to give summer signing Gabriel Sara his full debut following the midfielder's move from Brazilian side Sao Paulo.

Grant Hanley returns from a one-match ban served last week against Wigan and will partner Andrew Omobamidele in the heart of the Canaries' defense.

Tony Springett, Sam Byram and Isaac Hayden (knee surgery) are the only confirmed absentees.

Likely lineups

Hull City: Ingram; Jones, Greaves, Figueiredo; Elder, Slater, Seri, Coyle; Tufan; Estupiñán, Sayyadmanesh

Norwich City: Krul; Giannoulis, Hanley, Omobamidele, Aarons;  Sørensen, Núñez; Cantwell, Sara, Rushica; Pukki

Key players

Jean-Michael Seri (Hull City)

The Ivorian scored the match-winner in his competitive debut for the Tigers, showing why he was brought to the club. His versatility in where he can play on the field as well as his athleticism with or without the ball make him Hull's most dangerous offensive weapon.

Teemu Pukki (Norwich City)

He has yet to find the back of the net this season, going as an unused substitute in the midweek Carabao Cup victory over Birmingham City, but his 77 goals over 159 appearances for the Canaries means it's only a matter of time before the Finn breaks through.
