Fulham host AFC Bournemouth as the two sides that gained automatic promotion last year look to maintain their place in the top half of the Premier League table.

Consecutive defeats for the Cottagers have seen them outscored 7-2 by Newcastle and West Ham after winning two of three, but they remain in the top half of the table.

The Cherries are unbeaten in five marches under the guidance of caretaker manager Gary O'Neil with their latest result a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Leicester.

Fulham have won just once in their last ten meetings against Bournemouth, a 1-0 victory away from home in 2019 and the away side has been victorious in the last five top-flight meetings.

Team news

Fulham

The Cottagers are set to make a late call on the fitness of star man Aleksandar Mitrovic with a further assessment on Friday evening.

Willian is available for selection, but Kenny Tete (hamstring) and Layvin Kurzawa remain sidelined.

Manor Solomon is a long-term absentee through knee surgery and is expected to return to full fitness in December.

AFC Bournemouth

Joe Rothwell has yet to feature for the South coast outfit since a summer move from Championship side Blackburn with a quad issue, but he looks set to make his debut here.

Ben Pearson hasn't played since the 9-0 thrashing by Liverpool through a knee injury, but he also is fully fit and could be back in the side.

Skipper Lloyd Kelly (ankle) and David Brooks (hamstring) remain out.
