Wrexham look to continue their torrid run of form as they visit Wealdstone.

The Dragons brushed aside Scunthorpe United 3-1 as goals from Ollie Palmer, Paul Mullin and Aaron Hayden saw them to victory and the top of the Vanarama National League table, unbeaten in nine.

Wealdstone snapped a six-match losing streak in all competitions with a 1-0 victory at Altrincham as Olufela Olomola scored two minutes into the second half.

Wrexham have gine unbeaten in three against the Stones following a 4-3 defeat in their first-ever meeting in October 2020.

Team news

Wealdstone

Manager Stuart Maynard will welcome back the quartet of Mason Barrett, Ashley Charles, Nathan Ferguson and Max Kretzschmar.

Barrett has been nursing a hamstring problem since August, Charles has missed the last four matches with an ankle issue, Ferguson missed the FA Cup tie with a family bereavement and missed a month with a calf problem and Kretzschmar has been out since mid-September with hamstring trouble.

Malachi Napa remains sidelined with an ankle issue.

Deji Elerewe has been recalled by parent club Charlton following a loan spell with the Stones and replacing him with Miguel Freckleton.

Wrexham

Bryce Hosannah is expected to keep his place at right-back after coming on for Anthony Forde, who limped off against Oldham in the FA Cup with an injury.

Likely line-ups

Wealdstone: Howes; Barker, Elerewe, Habergham, Cook, Kinsella; McGregor, Allarakhia, Dyer; Obiero, Olomola

Wrexham: Howard; Hosannah, Hayden, Tozer, Tunnicliffe; McFadzean, Jones, Young, Lee; Mullin, Palmer

Key players

Olufela Olowola (Wealdstone)

Scored his third of the year to give the Stones a vital win against Altrincham and is second on the team in goals behind Rhys Browne, who has seven.

Paul Mullin (Wrexham)

Another goal on Sunday against Scunthorpe pushed his total to 16 in all competitions, scoring four over his last four appearances. Quite simply, he's the best player in the National League.
