Sheffield Wednesday made a dramatic comeback at The Valley to take all three points thanks to late goals from Reda Johnson and Leroy Lita. The first half passed off without major incident, with Charlton having the better of it, but 2 minutes into the second half Jonny Jackson got his 2nd goal in 3 games against The Owls. Then Dave Jones made match changing subsititutions and replaced 2 wingers with Lita and Madine to put Antonio out wide. Reda Johnson kept up his amazing run of goals with a looping header on 84 minutes. Leroy Lita completed the comeback to top an amazing debut with a deflected shot in front of the Wenesday faithful.

Brian Laws brought his Scunthorpe side back from Cumbria with a share of the points at Brunton Park. The first half was dominated by Carlisle, with Lee Miller having a goal chalked off for offside. However Karl Hawley broke the deadlock with a driven shot into the bottom corner after an assist from Tom Newey. Greg Abbots side scored through subsititute Dave Symington with 15 minutes left to claim a share of the spoils.

Bottom of the league Bristol Rovers shocked Rotherham at the New York Stadium. John Ward's side became the 3rd side to win at Rotherham while propping up the League 2 table. Rovers took the lead through a Lee Brown penalty after Dale Tonge upended Ryan Brunt. Ellis Harrison doubled the Bristolians lead on 52 minutes when he struck into the bottom right corner. Joe Anyinsah made the points safe on the hour and started a mass exodus at the NYS. David Noble got a goal back for the Millers, but it was a mere consolation.

York CIty nearly came away with a shock win at title-chasing Gillingham. The Kent side would have gone to the top of the table if they had beaten the Minstermen but the Yorkshire side took the lead after Charlie Lee put through his own net from a Patrick McLaughlin corner. Just as Garl Mils started to dream of a huge win, Miles Weston sent in a searching cross, which found Charlie McDonald's head to equalise for the Gills
