Unfortunately, that's all we have time for. I've been Sam Smith and until next time, goodbye!

Certainly not a game for the neutrals but Michail Antonio's late header steals the points. The hosts - playing in the London Stadium for the first time in the Premier League - were aided by Harry Arter's sending-off shortly before the goal.

Full Time. West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth.

90+5' What a miss! Calleri - put through by Noble - seemingly has all the space in the stadium but somehow fires wide.

90+3' Bournemouth almost level as King swivels and fires towards goal, but Adrian stops with his feet. Follow up is denied by Collins just in front of goal.

90' Four minutes added on. Obiang goes straight in the book for a cynical foul.

89' West Ham sub: Pedro Obiang replaces Gokhan Tore.

85' In fairness, that goal has seemed more likely since Arter's stupid dismissal. Dan Gosling comes on for Bournemouth, meanwhile - replacing Ryan Fraser.

85' Kouyate crosses, the ball evades everyone. Tore picks up the loose ball and crosses for Michail Antonio who heads in at the far post!

85' GOAL FOR WEST HAM! THE FIRST LEAGUE GOAL AT THE NEW STADIUM!

80' West Ham change: Nordtveit is replaced Ashley Fletcher.

77' Arter - already on a yellow card - hauls down Kouyate as he advances down the right. Meanwhile, Nathan Ake replaces Jordon Ibe.

77' Red card! Harry Arter is off!

74' Bournemouth substitution: Lewis Grabban replaces Callum Wilson.

72' Eddie Howe is preparing Lewis Grabban to come on and liven the game up.

69' Kouyate and Francis clash in the middle of the pitch while contesting for a high ball. Both are okay to continue.

68' Ibe sums up the game with the resulting free-kick. Tries to cross but it goes well over the goal and out for a goal kick. His team mates turn to him and have all sorts of expressions on their faces. Howe frustrated.

67' Noble concedes a free-kick, sliding in on Ibe and bringing down the former Liverpool wide man.

66' Masuaku has just chipped the ball down the line. Nobody there - at all. Goal kick.

65' Antonio tries to find space to have a shot but is crowded out. Bournemouth go up the other end and Ibe fires straight at Adrian.

62' West Ham substitution: Jonathan Calleri comes on for his debut in place of the ineffetive Enner Valencia.

59' Close! Antonio crosses for Tore, whose semi-acrobatic effort hits the side netting. Looked like it was in!

58' Byram gets in down the right but Daniels blocks the eventual cross. Ryan Fraser then breaks forward but is stopped fairly soon.

53' Good save Adrian! King lets fly from 25-yards but the Spaniard flies across his goal to palm the ball over the bar. Game is opening up and Bournemouth are much improved from their lacklustre first half performance.

51' Why has he not shot?! Ibe gets in behind - one-on-one with Adrian - but tries to pull the ball across to King rather than taking on the shot. His pass is intercepted and the ball rolls out for a corner. It's almost as if they know I'm eager for something of note to happen.

48' Adam Smith cuts inside and has an effort from slightly further out than from where he scored last week. Shot (yes, on target!) is held by Adrian.

46' Bournemouth win an early corner. Much better delivery that Adrian struggles to deal with but West Ham's defence bail him out and clear the ball.

46' West Ham get the second 45 minutes underway. Will the game improve? We certainly hope so.

Teams are back out and we're ready for the second half.

We'll be back for the second half where we hope for this game to improve immensely. Stay tuned.

Certainly not the greatest game. In fact, not a very good game at all. Lots of shots from distance have failed to trouble our respective goalkeepers and very miminal clear-cut chances have been created. West Ham the better side.

Half time: West Ham 0-0 Bournemouth.

45+2' Ibe's mazy run ultimately earns him a corner. Winston Reid receives a yellow card for contesting the decision. Good to see the referees clamping down on dissent.

45' Two minutes to be added on at the end of the half. Not sure we really need it, though.

44' Antonio heads over following a free-kick.

43' Nordtveit concedes a corner. Corner evades everyone. Goal kick.

40' On second thoughts, I'm not even sure if that was going in. Back to square one.

40' An actual shot on target. Valencia - from a tight angle - fires at Boruc's near post but the goalkeeper bats it away with ease.

38' Sam Byram booked for stopping Fraser as he looked to attack.

36' Tore breaks and plays in Antonio who fires wide. Steve Cook booked for a foul while the attack took place.

35' Kouyate blasts over. Not sure if we've actually had a shot in target so far.

34' Free-kick is played in low but Collins concedes a free-kick as he slides in.

33' Arter blocks Kouyate's cross with his arm and concedes a free-kick. Yellow card awarded for the Bournemouth midfielder.

32' Masuaki has an effort from distance but it travels well wide. Not even an exageration to claim it was close to the corner flag. Pace of the game has stalled recently.

28' Interesting. Replays show Daniel's tackle on Tore which led to the winger's free-kick was actually inside the box, rather than just outside. Seemed outside on first viewing so very difficult for ref Pawson. In addition, none of the West Ham players appealed for a penalty, no contested the decision to award a free-kick.

25' Penalty shout for West Ham. Kouyate gets in down the right side but his shot is blocked. Byram gets hold of the ball but Kouyate takes over and crosses for Valencia who feels he was pushed by Francis. Nothing given.

24' Tore fires the free-kick straight into the wall. Crosses again and it's cleared. Not so great end product so far from the summer signing.

23' Tore wins a free-kick in a very dangerous position on the right-hand side of the box. Charlie Daniels the guilty party.

21' Francis clears Tore's in-swinging cross from the right.

20' And that free-kick is cleared with ease.

19' King misjudges his effort on the edge of the box, Antonio breaks and sets up Valencia, whose effort is blocked. West Ham now have a free-kick following a foul on Noble.

17' Byram's turn to cross, but once again gathered by the goalkeeper, Boruc.

16' Ibe fires a cross across goal but Adrian gathers with ease.

11' Mark Noble almost gets in behind but the angle is too tight. He squares but the ball is cleared. Almost looked as though Noble would be the first man to score a Premier League goal at the new stadium.

07' Gokhan Tore Bends a left-footed effort well wide. Very good start to this game, helped by a thoroughly decent atmosphere.

05' Poor back pass almost has Simon Francis in a foot race with Antonio but the Bournemouth captain gets to the ball first and the ball reaches Artur Boruc in goal.

03' Bournemouth attack is stopped as Fraser fouls Kouyate. Free-kick to the Hammers deep in their own half.

02' Charlie Daniels crosses for Bournemouth but Masuaku clears. Kouyate breaks but is halted.

01' Bournemouth get the game started. Our referee today is Craig Pawson.

01' Kick off.

Players in the tunnel and ready to come out.

around 57,000 are in the London Stadium today. Ten minutes until kick-off. We'll have all the action here - stay tuned!

Just under 30 minutes until we get underway. This is the second Premier League game of the day following Middlesbrough's 2-1 victory against Sunderland.

Team news: No Dimitri Payet or Andy Carroll for West Ham - both are injured. Gokhan Tore replaces the injured Sofiane Feghouli. Eddie Howe, slightly surprisingly, uses winger Ryan Fraser in place of Max Gradel, whilst Josh King also comes into the line-up in what is expected to be a 4-4-2 from Bournemouth.

West Ham subs: Randolph, Ogbonna, Burke, Oxford, Obiang, Fletcher, Calleri.

Bournemouth subs: Federici, B. Smith, Ake, Gosling, Gradel, Grabban, Afobe.

Confirmed West Ham team: Adrian; Byram, Collins, Reid, Masuaki; Nordtveit; Tore, Noble, Kouyate, Antonio; Valencia.

Confirmed Bournemouth team: Boruc; A. Smith, Francis, S. Cook, Daniels; Ibe, Arter, Surman, Fraser; C. Wilson, King.

We will have team news in around 15 minutes.

Stay tuned for more updates and build-up as we count down to kick-off.

For Bournemouth, Junior Stanislas and long-term absentee Tyrone Mings will both miss the game. Amazingly, Mings is still yet to feature for Bournemouth since signing last summer. The Former Ipswich Town left-back unfortunately ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament shortly after signing, although Howe has recently confirmed that the defender has finally returne to training. We hope to see him feature in the Premier League very soon.

Definitely absent for West Ham will be club-record signing Andre Ayew, who suffered a thigh injury in Monday's defeat to Chelsea. Ayew is a £20.5 million signing from fellow Premier League side Swansea City but he is expected to miss up to four months - a bitter blow for Bilic. Also unavailable is fellow new signing Sofiane Feghouli, a summer signing from Valencia, whilst Aron Cresswell, Manuel Lanzini and Diafra Sakho also won't feature. Midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate is a doubt.

The Hammers will hope to welcome back their talisman Dimitri Payet for this contest. The Frenchman was given an extended holiday to recover from reaching the final of Euro 2016 with home nation France in the summer. Payet will certainly be seen as West Ham's danger man, having taken the English top-flight by storm in his first season after completing a move from Marseille last year. Can Payet reach his very best quickly or will it be a case of 'second season syndrome' for the number 27?

Meanwhile, Bournemouth struggled to get out of first gear against a classy Manchester United side that eventually turned the Cherries over by a 3-1 score line. A defensive mix-up between captain Simon Francis and goalkeeper Artur Boruc gave Red Devils midfielder Juan Mata a simple tap-in to put his side into the lead just before half-time. United turned on the style in the second half, however, and went three goals up courtesy of Wayne Rooney and a first Premier League goal for the charismatic Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Bournemouth full-back Adam Smith rifled a left-footed effort into David Ge Gea's top corner to restore some pride but Eddie Howe's side will certainly be looking to make amends on Sunday afternoon.

Both sides lost on the opening weekend, although their opponents will certainly be in the hunt for the title in May. Slaven Bilic's West Ham visited Chelsea, where they were unlucky to come away with nothing having been beaten 2-1. Eden Hazard put the Blues ahead with a penalty just after half-time, although James Collins slammed home the equaliser for the visitors soon after. However, controversial striker Diego Costa - who could easily have been sent off just moments before - scored from outside the box as the clock ticked into added time to snatch all three points for his side.

The London Stadium - also known as the Olympic Stadium to many of you - makes its Premier League bow on Sunday afternoon, with the Cherries being the very first domestic visitors to the ground. West Ham will hope to get off to a good start in their new home and will want to make it a fortress if they are to stand any chance of qualifying for European football for the third successive season.
