After a historic win against 2011 Champions Manchester City, Cardiff now face a stern test against an Everton side looking for their first win of the season. Everton have looked impressive in their first two games, against Norwich they were the better side in a 2-2 draw. They were then only denied victory at home to West Brom due to the performance of Ben Foster.

Roberto Martinez is clued up on a trip to Cardiff after boasting to have never lost a South Wales derby during his tenure as Swansea manager. Speaking of the reception he would get, he is unsure: "I spent some really good times in South Wales, so I'm sure I'll get a reception. What type?- I don't know''

Everton may have the possible sale of their star players Marouane Fellaini & Leighton Baines in the forefront of their minds, however Cardiff boss Malky MacKay thinks they still be up for the test: ''I know Roberto Martinez well, he'll be professional about the job in hand and the speculation will not effect him''
