Cardiff City winger Craig Noone believes they can benefit from an FA Cup run.

They could continue the run on Saturday as they face holders Wigan Athletic at the Cardiff City Stadium. Cardiff have been lacklustre of late, on Tuesday they wasted a valuable opportunity to get out of the bottom three.

"If we can play well and win another tie we can take that into next league match against Hull, and that will do us a lot of good

We need to concentrate on this game, prepare for it, and try to keep the momentum of the cup rolling," said Noone.

This Cardiff City's first fifth round tie since they were knocked out by Chelsea at this stage in 2010. The tournament has provided some respite for boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, his only success as Cardiff City manager has come in this competition.

Wigan Athletic have been on a decent run of late, and their 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the week will only help their cause.

Manager Uwe Rosler is not feeling the pressure that should come with an FA Cup fifth round tie.

"It is important we express ourselves and attack them. We have nothing to lose- they are the favourites," Rosler told Talksport.
