12:50 - Hello everyone I am Brandon Sayer, and welcome to Vavel's coverage of today's clash between Manchester United and Arsenal in a massive game in the Premier League at Old Trafford. Arsenal will want to keep up their title charge, while United will be hoping to gain some momentum to close the gap on the top-four.

Arsenal predicted XI (4-2-3-1) - Cech; Bellerin, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal; Coquelin, Ramsey; Sanchez, Ozil, Walcott; Giroud.

Manchester United predicted XI (4-2-3-1) - De Gea; Varela, Smalling, Blind, Riley; Schneiderlin, Carrick; Lingard, Mata, Memphis; Rashford.

Arsenal have failed to win at Old Trafford since 2006, but Arsene Wenger is determined to end that sequence saying "we have to raise our level at the right moment. We had a good performance against them in October and we want to do it again." and try to finally get that big win at Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal is happy how the last two results have gone for United, but he knows Arsenal will be a bigger challenge saying "we can take confidence into the Arsenal game from our last win but we play one of the best teams in the PL". It will be a big test to see how Van Gaal can manage his team's level of fitness after not much recovery time before the match

Arsenal have a few key players still out injured for the game with United with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the latest to get injured versus Barcelona in midweek. Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla are still amongst the players still out for a long while yet, but defender Gabriel is set for a late fitness test before the game. The game will also see Danny Welbeck come up against his old side after his return from a long-term injury and the last time that he came up against United the striker scored the winner in last year's FA Cup quarter-final.

United go into the game with a terrible lot of injuries including Anthony Martial, who got injured in the warm-up before the Midtjylland game on Thursday. The positives though are that David de Gea is set to return after missing the last three games and defender Chris Smalling is optimistic that he will be fit to return. Marcus Rashford, who made his debut in some style on Thursday, is set to start again if Martial doesn't make it.

The meeting between the sides at the Emirates earlier in the season was a one-sided match with Arsenal winning the game within the first 20 minutes 3-0 with a brace from Alexis Sanchez and a goal from Mesut Ozil. United will be going all out to try and avenge that humbling result and know they were unlucky to not win the match at Old Trafford last season when it finished 1-1 with a late own goal rescuing the match for Arsenal.

United are coming into the game in good form after two successive wins in the last week against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup, and FC Midtjylland in the Europa League. Arsenal are coming into the game after a draw in the FA Cup last weekend against Hull City and a defeat in the Champions League to Barcelona on Tuesday night. In the Premier League though United are coming off a sobering defeat in their last outing 2-1 away at Sunderland while Arsenal will be in good spirits after defeating leaders Leicester 2-1 at home.

The match at Old Trafford is a key clash for both sides for different reasons. Arsenal are trying to win the Premier League this season and need to keep the pressure on leaders on Leicester City while United need to win to try and close the gap to the top four places.
