Norwich City look to have finally landed Robbie Brady after weeks of negotiations.

Numerous bids for the former Manchester United player have been turned down, with one £3 million bid being called "embarrassing" by Hull boss Steve Bruce.

However, Norwich can now start to discuss personal terms with the winger, after they finally had a bid of around £7 million accepted by the Tigers.

It is understood that Brady has not travelled to Austria with rest of the Hull for pre-season friendlies this morning.

The 23-year-old is instead said to be making his way to Norfolk to complete the transfer.

Brady will go straight back into the Premier League after last season's relegation with Hull if the deal is completed.

The Irish international hasn't hidden his desire to return to the Premier League and many Hull fans will believe they have got a fair deal.

With Premier League experience, and after becoming a regular in the team for Republic of Ireland, Norwich will have signed an already experienced professional with lots of potential.

Brady joined the Tigers in January 2013 on a permanent deal having previously been on loan at the KC Stadium twice.

Hull have replacement ready

The Tigers have made a move for Chesterfield's attacking midfielder Sam Clucas, who played against Steve Bruce's side in the friendly match between the teams on Tuesday evening.

City are said to have had a £1 million bid accepted for Clucas, who only arrived at the Spirites from Mansfield Town for the start of last season, playing 38 games for the club.

The attacking midfielder, who can play as a left-winger or left-back, scored 12 times last season.

Clucas was a youth player at Leicester but was released and joined his home-town club Lincoln.

He went on to play for Hereford and Mansfield before joining Chesterfield last summer.
