Two Southampton players, midfielder Steven Davis and forward Lloyd Isgrove, will be in action for their countries tomorrow as they look to get minutes under their belts ahead of respective European Championship campaigns in the summer.
Davis's Northern Ireland
Davis will once more be captain for his Northern Ireland side as they come up against Slovenia in an international friendly. Davis and his team mates played a friendly just a couple of days ago as they played out a 1-1 draw with Wales in Cardiff as part of the preparation for the Euro's in France this summer. The match in Belfast will kick off at 7.45pm BST.
This is a really important match for the Irish as it is the final match which they will play before the end of the regular season, before then playing some more friendlies ahead of the Euro's. With the match being against Slovenia it once more offers Davis and his team mates a tough opposition to face to prove just how far they have come as a team since securing qualification.
Following the match Davis will travel back to Southampton join his team mates in preparing for the tough trip to Leicester to face the league leaders at the King Power next Sunday with kick off at 1:30pm GMT.
Isgrove is also expected to feature for his Wales side after making his debut in the match against Northern Ireland on Friday as they face Ukraine in an international friendly. The match will kick off at 5pm BST and is a vital one for Isgrove as it is his last chance to show the Wales coaching staff what he can do and hoping to further cement his place in the squad for the tournament.
With Isgrove being a recent addition from the squad it’s so vital that he takes an little opportunity which is handed to him tomorrow night as there won't be many more opportunities to prove himself prior to the final squad getting announced for the Euro's.
