Swansea City's season has been the toughest they have had in years, with managerial and personnel problems it has been a season most fans would likely want to forget.
But they can have a positive ending to their campaign and could end up finishing in a much higher position than most fans had originally hoped for earlier on in the year.
As they look to move further away from the relegation zone to secure their safety, Swansea could actually overtake Bournemouth with a victory, putting even more distance between the Welsh outfit and the drop zone.
Swansea injury free, Bournemouth missing two key players
The Swans will head into the game with a fully fit side, as they currently have no injury doubts heading into the weekend's clash which should give them a major boost.
However they will be without manager, Francesco Guidolin who is still suffering from a chest infection.
That means Alan Curtis will be taking charge from the dugout once more, which should give the players an added incentive to fight for their boss.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, will be missing Junior Stanislas for a third game in a row and Harry Arter is doubtful through an Achilles injury.
With two key players absent, Swansea have an opportunity to claim three points. They should be confident that they can get the job done in what is an important fixture.
Both sides in good form
The Welsh side are coming into the game in fantastic form, having beaten Arsenal and Norwich City in their last two outings.
With Aston Villa up next after this game, they will be hoping to make the most of their current run colliding with fixtures against lower placed opposition.
However, heading into the game with seven points from their last nine, the Cherries are in equally good form.
This has made the tussle a match-up that could easily be crucial to the relegation battle on the race to avoid the drop.
