Swansea City travel to The Hawthorns to face West Brom on Wednesday, in what could be a pivotal game for both sides.
Swansea manager Bob Bradley will be looking to climb out of the relegation zone and claim his first Premier League away win in the process. West Brom will be aiming to further climb the league table. They are currently eighth but could leapfrog above Watford with a win.
Injury news
Swansea boss Bradley confirmed that both Ki Sung-Yeung and Federico Fernandez won’t return from broken toes, but they are close to being back fit. The American may decide to rest senior players such as Leon Britton and Angel Rangel due to the congested fixture list that lies ahead with the Christmas period.
For West Brom, Boaz Myhill is still out with an ankle injury while defender Craig Dawson will miss the game through suspension.
It’s expected that Allan Nyom will switch from left-back to right-back and Brendan Galloway will be called into the starting eleven.
Saido Berahino also played for West Brom’s development side on Monday, but he won’t feature in this fixture.
What have the managers said?
Ahead of the game, Bradley claimed that: “They [West Brom] are hard to break down, they’re direct, there’s a physical part to their game, they have a lot of tall guys,
"They utilise that to give them good matchups on set-pieces. They’re impressive in terms of team shape and how they go about their business.”
Bradley also spoke about main man Gylfi Sigurdsson, and said that while there will inevitably be interest in the midfielder, he expects to hold onto the Icelandic international through the January transfer window.
On losing Dawson through suspension, Tony Pulis said: “We’ll miss Daws [Dawson] because he has played exceptionally well for us. However we’ve got to get on with it and we are lucky enough to have options there.”

Swansea have won six of their previous 10 Premier League meetings with West Brom, and have only failed to score once in those games.
West Brom, however, have won their last two games, the last time they won three successive Premier League home games was in March 2015.
Previous meetings
The sides’ last meeting was at The Hawthorns in February, where they played out a 1-1 draw thanks to goals from Sigurdsson and a 92nd minute Salomon Rondon tap-in.
The last win came for Swansea at the Liberty Stadium in December 2015, as a Ki Sung-Yeung finish saw Swansea climb out of the relegation zone.
