Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign 18-year-old MK Dons midfielder Dele Alli for a reported transfer fee of £5 million pounds.

The highly-rated young midfielder is set to have a medical at the North London club and Alli will be loaned straight back to MK Dons for the rest of the season should the move go through before tonight's 11pm transfer deadline. Alli has been one of the breakthrough stars in English football this season with 12 goals in 32 appearances for the Dons this season. The England under-19 player was the standout player during MK Dons' famous 4-0 win over Manchester United in late August in the Capital One Cup and Alli scored a hat-trick when Karl Robinson's side demolished Crewe 6-1 earlier this term. The  highly-rated youngster already has 60 professional appearances under his belt for MK Dons, and could be one for the future for Spurs.

Alli has attracted interest from many of the top clubs from around Europe such as Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Arsenal, however the youngster has opted for a move to Mauricio Pochettino's side.
