Tottenham Hotspur saw 12 players feature for their country in the recent international break as their respective countries looked to pick up points in a bid to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, Eric Dier and Dele Alli all featured for England, while Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen were called up for Belgium. Christian Eriksen featured twice for Denmark while Ben Davies started for Wales and Kevin Wimmer started for Austria. Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko started for France and Vincent Janssen played the full 90 for Holland

Who featured in what games?

Most recently, Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, Eric Dier and Dele Alli started for England in a goalless draw against Slovenia. Only Alli didn't play for the full 90 minutes as he was substituted off for Wayne Rooney with just under 20 minutes to go. Previously Walker and Alli started for the Three Lions in a 2-0 win over Malta, with the latter scoring a goal. The game also saw Rose come of the bench for an injured Ryan Bertrand in the 20th minute, while Eric Dier was an unused substitute. The two results leave England at the top of their group.

Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko came up against team mate Vincent Janssen as France beat Holland 1-0, with all three players featuring for the full 90 minutes. France currently sit at the top of Group A while Janssen’s Holland sit in third.

Midfielder Christian Eriksen endured two losses as he started for Denmark who were defeated by Poland and Montenegro. The two losses leave Denmark in fourth with only one win out of three.

Alderweireld and Vertonghen both started for Belgium in their 6-0 thrashing of Gibraltar. Belgium have won all three of their games so far, leaving the Red Devil's in prime position. Vertonghen started in his natural position as a center back but due to Belgium's lack of full back options Alderweireld was forced out wide onto the right.

In Group D, Davies’s Wales was held to a 1-1 draw by Georgia as the Welshman played for the full 90 minutes. Kevin Wimmer also started for Austria despite having limited playing time with Tottenham. The results leave Wales in third and Austria in fourth.

The players will now link back up with Tottenham as they prepare to travel to West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
