Rumors of an Indonesian takeover at Inter have been fueled by an alleged set of conditions laid out by Moratti if he was to accept Erick Thohir's offer, which would see the latter become the majority shareholder at Inter.
According to CDS, Moratti wants "guarantees, investment for the team and the stadium, but also the direct intervention of the father of Erick, Teddy, who with his Astra International invoice nearly 20 billion Euros per year."
These rumors have been further strengthened by a recent tweet by Erick Thohir in which he says "I have to learn Italian. Forgive me, but I understand only English and Indonesian at the time". This implies that a permanent place for Thohir in Italy and specifically with Inter is a likelihood.
