Juventus striker Fernando Llorente is not feeling confident about his World Cup chances.
The 29-year-old, who has scored 13 goals this season, is a doubt to make Spain's World Cup squad due to the form of Diego Costa.
"It is extremely difficult to play for the selection. There are a lot options, but a player can never lose hope," Llorente said.
Diego Costa, who is set to keep him out of the team, has been in immense form leading the Atletico line by scoring 25 goals in La Liga this season.
Llorente said: "Costa is a player who is in incredible form. He is doing unthinkable things at the moment and is leading Atletico Madrid to the top. What he is doing is commendable, he should be admired."
