Cristian Tello is expected to be finalising a loan move to FC Porto, according to reports. The twenty-two year old wide forward played a bit-part role for Barcelona last season as he failed to find his form on a consistent basis for the Catalan club. After a poor season by Barcelona's standards, Tello is expected to be one of the few faces to be shown the door, albeit temporarily.

Porto, however, are looking to bring Tello to the Estádio do Dragão on a permanent basis. Tello himself is not too keen in commiting his long-term future to Porto as he is looking to test the water through a loan move. The best Porto can hope for currently is a loan-deal with an option to purchase once the loan expires, with the fee believed to be around the €12 million mark. The Spaniard fell down the pecking order to the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Pedro and Neymar last term meaning pastures new could reignite the players career. At 22, Tello still has time on his side to develop into the player he was tipped to be at a young age.

Spanish newspaper AS has been reporting that Porto have already come to an agreement, with former Spain u21 and current Porto boss Julen Lopetegui pushing for the deal, having previously worked with Tello at youth level. However, other reports suggest that Tello also has a handful of offers from elsewhere, from clubs such as: Everton, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.

Tello has made his frustrations known due to a lack of playing time and is likely to be open to switch to get more minutes under his belt.
