Barcelona placed a spot into the Copa Del Rey final for second straight time following their 3-1 result at Villarreal and will be looking to their first silverware of the season. A brace from Neymar and goal from Luis Suarez were enough to beat Villarreal for a 6-2 aggargate final score.

It did not take long for the vistors to get things rolling. In the 3rd minute, Javier Mascherano was able to find Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan then switched the play to Messi on the other flank, as the Argentine was able to cut inside of Cheryshev before angling a cross into the box where Neymar was able to beat the offside trap to finish past Asenjo with a brilliant first touch to give the Catalans the lead.

While it looked that the away side was able to run out of time given the away goal and advantage they had in the first leg at home, Villarreal were able to equalize from former Barcelona player Jonathan Dos Santos. Denis Cheryshev was able to roll out a pass to the left for the overlapping Jaume Costa in which the left-back floated a cross to the back post to find Dos Santos to convert from the back post after losing Jordi Alba when he was caught under the ball. A scare at halftime for the vistors when Sergio Busquets was subbed out for Jeremy Mathieu following an injury when Pina went right over the Barca man's ankle.

In the 55th minute, Barcelona had the chance to take the lead from Lionel Messi when his shot was saved by Asenjo following a spectular run from the right hand side before curling a shot inside the far post. 10 minutes, a lifeline was given to the Blaugrana when Pina again lunged into a challenge, this time towards Neymar's legs and the referee wasted no time in giving him his marching orders as the hosts finished of the remainder of the match with 10 men.

8 minutes later, Barcelona secured their spot in the Copa Del Rey final. Mascherano was able to slide a exquisite pass down the right-hand channel for Suarez, who raced in and used his strength to get past the centre-back Victor Ruiz before knocking the ball past Asenjo and slotting it into the empty net to take a 2-1 lead.

Neymar then completed his night with a brace as the Brazilian scored in the last minute when Xavi pinged a brilliant cross to the winger and headed it home to confirm their spot into the Copa Del Rey final where they will play the winner between Athletic Bilbao and Catalan rivals Espanyol in what surely will be an amazing cup final to see Barcelona's chances of winning their first silverware in 2 years, whereas Villarreal will now look to focus more on La Liga to finish off the season with goals of achieving a European compeititon spot as they trail Sevilla by one point and Valencia by eight points at the moment.
