At the Madrigal, Celta de Vigo come to town to take on Villarreal and the rest of the yellow submarine faithful.

Villarreal look to continue to build momentum towards a Champions League spot tomorrow hosting Celta Vigo.  The host look to put away their miserable showing in the Copa del Rey against Barcelona losing 6-2 on aggregate while Celta Vigo is looking to make it six straight games unbeaten. The last time out, Villarreal saw off ten-men Celta Vigo with a brace from Moi Gomez to lead the way for the visitors.

Before their 3-1 (6-2 on aggregate) loss to Barcelona midweek in the Copa del Rey, Villarreal earned a shock draw at Real Madrid.  Cristiano Ronaldo kicked off the scoring with a penalty after Eric Bailly fouled him, however, a nice, low strike by Gerard Moreno got it to level terms.  Luciano Vietto nearly struck for a second, but the visitors were relatively happy to share the spoils with the league leaders.  Currently in sixth place, the Yellow Submarines look to battle it out for a top four spot with a win tomorrow brining them within five points of fourth place Valencia.   The hosts will be dealing with plenty of injuries in tomorrow's game.  The biggest player who will be missing is Cani with a sprained ankle and is dealing with the flu.  Hernan Perez will be challenging for a first-team appearance tomorrow returning from an injury

Celta Vigo are looking to extend their unbeaten run in the league to six games.  In ninth place, they are not really a threat for a possible European spot, but  a top-ten finish in the league should still be a goal of theirs.  Last time out, they hosted Elche and were held with a 1-1 draw.  Michael Krohn-Delhi kicked off the scoring just after the hour mark, but the hero would turn into the villain at the end of the match as he would take down Victor Rodriguez down in the box just two minutes from time.  This allowed David Lomban to convert from the spot to give Elche a vital point.  Celta is dealing with significantly less injuries than their opposition, but Michael Krohn-Delhi is day-to-day with a back injury.  These are two of the best defensive teams in the league, and they are both comfortably in the top ten, so do not be surprised if this one is a nil-nil draw
