Lazio can all but secure qualification to the Europa League knockout stage with victory over whipping boys Rosenborg.

Visitors yet to face any problems

Lazio are yet to taste defeat this Europa League campain with two wins and a draw to their name. An opening group stage match with last year's runners up Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk ended with the sides sharing the spoils before the Aquile battered tonight's opponents Rosenberg 3-1 on home soil. An exciting 3-2 victory over second placed Saint-Etienne is sandwiched inbetween the aforementioned results.

Since their last participation in Europe, Lazio have been far from the team they've been in Europe domestically. On the back of the Rosenborg win they battered Torino 3-0 with Felipe Anderson playing a starring role. They're currently on a two game losing streak, firstly narrowly losing out to surprise package Atalanta in the dying embers and secondly being on the other end of a ruthless Milan performance which resulted in just their second home loss of the season.

Hosts in high spirits

This European campaign has went anything but swimmingly for the Norwegian outfit with them succumbing to defeat twice. They sit bottom of Group G and barring a miracle will be as well as out if they lose.

They have been extremely unlucky with conceding late goals. Nolan Roux's penalty three minutes from time meant Troillongan had to settle for just a point instead. Furthermore, they held their own against Dnipro until the final 10 minutes when they came undone to a Yevhen Seleznyov strike. However, they were outclassed when they met Lazio and never looked like getting anything from the game - they did though concede yet another late goal.

Over the weekend the Trondheim club celebrated their 22nd Tippeligaen title with victory over Haugesand.

Lazio predicted starting XI: Marchetti - Radu, Gentiletti, Hoedt, Basta - Cataldi, Onazi, Biglia - Felipe Anderson, Klose, Candreva.

Felipe Anderson will be key

Rosenborg Key Player - Alexander Soderlund - Soderlund has arguably been the hosts player of the season and his 26 goals went a long way in securing the title for Rosenborg. He will be heavily relied on deliver the goods and keep Rosenborg's dream of reaching the next stage alive.

Lazio Key Player - Felipe Anderson - The Brazillian has being excellent all season both in Europe and in the league. The winger has five goals and three assists so far this season and it is to be expetced that he'll star again against Rosenborg.
