There is some concern for Poland ahead of Euro 2016 as they failed to score in their goalless draw with Lithuania in their final warm-up game.
It was a first 45 minutes of half-chances for both sides with Arvydas Novikovas, Filip Starzynski and Kamil Grosicki all having decent opportunities, but the hosts failed to make the breakthrough.
Both sides had their two best opportunities in the second half, with Jakub Blaszczykowski hitting the post and Nerijus Valskis forcing a good save from Artur Boruc, but they failed to make a difference to the scoreline.
Down to the bare bones
Adam Nawałka's side were nowhere near their strongest, with Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski sitting on the bench, and were almost shaken instantaneously when Lithuania had the first opportunity of the game.
It only took 15 seconds for Fedor Cernych to play the ball into Novikovas as he was one-on-one with Lukasz Fabianski, but the Swansea City goalkeeper did well to block the effort.
Poland dominated from there as they bombarded the Lithuanian defence, but the visitors managed to stay solid despite the onslaught.
Their first real opportunity of any recognition didn't arrive until the 37th minute when another attempted ball into the area was headed clear but straight into the path of Starzynski, who hit a thunderous effort from just outside the area but Edvinas Girdvainis put himself on the line to head clear.
Lithuania had been solid throughout the half but had a major lapse a minute from the break as a header back was straight to Grosicki, but he directed his volley beyond the post.
Inches away
Poland continued their dominance into the second period as a corner found it's way into the feet of Tomasz Jodlowiec, but the half-time substitute could only put it into the arms of Emilis Zubas.
Blaszczykowski then came within inches of finding the opening goal as he managed to wriggle free of the defence and hit a sweet shot which curled out of the reach of Zubas but clattered the post.
After that came the turn of Lithuania to attack and they came close as the ball fell Valskis who looked to curl it beyond Boruc, but the 'keeper did well to palm the curling effort away.
Poland had two final opportunities towards the end of the contest as they looked to find that crucial goal.
The first came in the 73rd minute as a cross was cleared only as far as Jakub Wawrzyniak, but he could only slice his half-volley into the side-netting.
The final opportunity of the afternoon did fall to the home side as they looked to give the people inside the Stadion Miejski im. Henryka Reymana some confidence ahead of flying to the tournament.
Arkadiusz Milik stood over a dangerous free-kick just outside the area and he looked for the top corner, 'but the keeper was equal to it as he palmed the effort away.
Poland will take on Northern Ireland at the Allianz Riviera on Sunday, June 12 with kick-off at 5pm BST.
