Fiorentina have announced the signing of promising 18-year-old Polish goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski on a five year deal through a statement on their official website.
Having posted a photo of him completing his medical earlier in the day, it was clear that the move was on verge of completion. The club soon followed the photo up with a video of his day at Fiorentina headquarters.

The youngster who joins from Jagellonia Bialystok in Poland's top flight has already represented his national teams u-21 side despite his tender age and has already firmly cemented himself as Bialystok's number one appearing in 38 games in all competitions last term keeping 13 clean sheets in the process.
Not here to be second best
Before Dragowski's arrival, Fiorentina had just two keepers on their senior books in Ciprian Tatarusanu and Luca Lezzerini and it is likely that Dragowski will be competing with the former for a starting berth under Paulo Sousa, should the Portuguese remain at the club past the summer with a departure long been rumoured.
Tatarusanu has 12 years on Dragowski but there is no reason to think that Dragowski couldn't dethrone the 30-year-old who appeared in all bar one of Fiorentina's Serie A games last year.
Speaking to calciomercato.it after the move, he made his ambitions clear "I want to develop by his side, sure, but I didn't come to Fiorentina to be the second or third goalkeeper."
He added that he is "very happy to be part of this great club" as well as admitting "I'll do my best to prove to the Coach that I'm ready to play."
Dragowski also commented on his compatriot Artur Boruc, who played for Fiorentina for two years between 2010-2012, "I know that in the past Artur Boruc established a great precedent for Polish goalkeepers here. I want to confirm that the level in Poland is high."
