It's finished in Warsaw, and it never really began for the hosts. Outclassed from start to finish and Dortmund were superb. It could have been any score, in truth. That's all from me, Jonathan Walsh. Stay with us tonight as we give you reports and reactions from around Europe. Good evening and goodnight!

FT - Legia Warsaw 0-6 Borussia Dortmund.

A super run from Bartra from defence sees him slip in Aubameyang, who coolly lifts the ball over the oncoming Malarz. Dead silence in Warsaw apart from the away fans.

87' AUBAMEYANG! 6-0!

84' The subs have eaten up a fair portion of time, and there's now just six minutes left in Warsaw. Their heaviest ever European home defeat.

Mor finds Pulisic and the youngster's cross is inch perfect for Castro's first touch to be a back post tap-in. All the subs have been made for both sides, as Mor, Castro and Ginter are on for Dembele, Götze and Weigl. Radovic replaces Moulin for Legia.

73' Schmelzer is back on and is fine, I am happy to report. Dortmund now happy to play keep ball and pick and choose their moments to move forward.

70' Just 20 minutes left as Schmelzer goes down heavy on his ankle. Given the score, Tuchel would be wise to take him off regardless.

66' Two changes for Alexandrov and Nikolic on for Legia, two attacking changes; can they spark any change in fortunes going forward?

62' Very little to report now, that fourth goal has really taken the sting out of this game. BVB happy to come forward but not with the same verve as before.

56' Bürki finally forced into save, but it's a routine one after a quick Legia counter. They can come forward and trouble Dortmund, they've just not had a chance.

Guerreiro slides in a deserved goal of his own. Aubameyang came inside and found Dembele, before his effort was bravely blocked. It fell kindly for the Portuguese, and he made no mistake from close range.

51' Is this a repeat of the first half? Four for BVB!

47' No changes at the break for either side but Bruno Cesar has put Sporting a goal up against Real Madrid.

HT - Legia Warsaw 0-3 Borussia Dortmund

44' Pulisic's cut-back almost falls to one of three BVB players in the middle, but Legia force it behind for a corner.

39' Moulin tries a hopeful lob but it's easily gathered. Legia struggling to find a clear route to goal but there are small signs of recovery.

35' No change here in Poland and it's still 0-3 to BVB. Legia have managed to stem the flow slightly, yet their opponents are still well on top.

32' A Bartra header at the back post is batted away by Malarz before Legia come forward. A shot is deflected just past the post, the corner is easily dealt with.

29' It's two for Leicester and two for Manchester City. Mahrez and Aguero with the goals as Guilherme goes into the book for Legia.

26' This is the BVB people thought we'd see this season, it's tempo to a whole other level. Legia can't cope with the pressure, or clear their lines, it's been a masterclass from the Germans.

23' Dembele almost curls in an unbelievable goal from the far corner of the box, taking it on first time; Malarz left scrambling. It has been absolutely all Dortmund.

19' Another chance for the visitors but a great block denies Götze, who looked sure to make it four. Tuchel's side have been incredible.

The Poles are having a return to forget. Malarz handles outside the area but does well to save the resulting free-kick. However, they can't clear the resulting shots and eventually Marc Bartra forces the ball home. BVB are in dreamland!

That's horrifc defending by Legia! Guerreiro takes the freekick after Dembele is fouled, he picks out Sokratis - one of four BVB players unmarked - and heads the ball back from where it come from and past Malarz's outstretched hand.

11' That should be two! Superb play for Dortmund cuts Legia oen through the middle, but Aubemayang can't finish off Pulisic's perfect pass and sees his effort saved.

10' Elsewhere, Sergio Aguero has given City the lead over Gladbach and Marc Albrighton's effort has Leicester ahead against Brugge.

What a start for the visitors! A wonderful team move was cut short moments before by a Pazdan intervention but there was nothing he could do here. A wonderful cross from the left by Dembele is headed home by an unmarked Götze.

6' An early shot from Steeven Langil flies harmlessly wide of the BVB goal. Neither goalkeeper forced into action thus far.

3' Some early, promising dribbles from Dembele sees him cause problems but a foul and a poor quick free-kick puts an end to BVB momentum.

1' We've now got plenty of flares at the Legia end - that most probably won't end well for their pockets - but we're underway in Poland!

19:40. A lovely choreo depicts Legia's named being pulled out of Pot Four, as their ultras proudly tell of their return. We're just moments away from kick-off!

19:35. Both teams had their strongest elevens available, Marco Reus aside, and we should be in for a high tempo, high passion affair.

19:30. Just 15 minutes to go until Legia's long-awaited return and BVB's short-stint in the Europa League comes to an end. Who do you think will come out on top tonight? Let us know @VAVEL!

As for BVB, Mikel Merino, Joo-Ho Park and and Neven Subotic were not registered and will play no part on Wednesday evening. Marco Reus is beginning to make his return from injury but won't return in time for this one, while Sven Bender (ankle) and Erik Durm (knee surgery) are also out through ongoing fitness problems.

In terms of absentees for the Poles, they are without just one player. Former VfB Suttgart man, Adam Hlousek is suspended after being sent off in their final play-off game.

And also, this is what we have in store this evening: Bayer Leverkusen - CSKA Moscow, Tottenham Hotspur - AS Monaco, Real Madrid - Sporting CP, Club Brugge - Leicester City, FC Porto - FC København, Juventus - Sevilla FC, Olympique Lyonnais - Dinamo Zagreb. Manchester City vs Borussia Mönchengladbach will also be played this evening.

Miss any of the results from last night's Champions League games? Here they are: FC Basel 1-1 Ludogorets Razgrad, Paris Saint-Germain 1-1 Arsenal, Benfica 1-1 Besiktas, Dynamo Kyiv 1-2 SSC Napoli, FC Barcelona 7-0 Celtic, Manchester City P-P Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayern Munich 5-0 FC Rostov, PSV Eindhoven 0-1 Atletico Madrid.

After a summer of huge change at the Westfalenstadion, as Mats Hummels, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Ilkay Gündogan all departed. André Schürrle, Mario Götze and Marc Bartra are among the names brought in by Thomas Tuchel, in what will be his first Champions League campaign. Along with Legia, he has been pitted against Sporting CP and Real Madrid. Tuchel will be confident of making it through, and will do his utmost to try and pip Real to top spot.

Even though they've broken into the Champions League group stages, the capital club have been far from convincing this season. After narrowly scrapping through against everyone's favourite minnows, Dundalk, the draw has not been kind. Their Ekstraklasa campaign hasn't been anymore kind, if anything less so. Already seven points off top spot and with just eight goals in eight games, they've only won twice. Improvement is needed, and fast.

Good evening and welcome to VAVEL UK's live text commentary of Borussia Dortmund's UEFA Champions League group stage trip to Legia Warsaw. The German side travel to the Polish capital after defeat to RB Leipzig at the weekend, while Legia are currently fourth from bottom in the Ekstraklasa. It should be routine for BVB based on that, though the loss to Leipzig has cast doubts over the black and yellow brigade. Kick-off is at 7:45pm.
