AC Milan have completed their fourth signing of their summer, bringing in young Portuguese forward Andre Silva from FC Porto for a reported fee of €38m.

Silva has been followed by clubs from all over Europe, thanks to his impressive performances for Porto in the 2016/17 season, where he scored 20 goals and made seven assists in all competitions.

Silva becomes Milan's fourth signing

In what has been an exciting summer for the fans of the Rossoneri, Silva has become the fourth signing of the club after Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez joined in the last few weeks.

The hope is that Milan can finally challenge again in the Serie A and with signings like these, and possibly more players coming in, it is clear that Vincenzo Montella is taking the club in the right direction.

Silva's transfer fee is certainly a bargain for the Rossoneri considering that his release clause of €60m was cut short because of Porto failing to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play rulings, star agent  Jorge Mendes negotiated a fee of €38m for his client.

Silva delighted with Milan move

Following his successful medical examination at La Madonnina, Silva spoke to Milan's official website and expressed his delight at completing the move to San Siro.

Silva said that completing the transfer is a " wonderful feeling " for him and expressed how "happy" he felt about the "opportunity" to play for the Rossoneri.

The 21-year-old continued in saying, "I know the history of AC Milan and I know how big club it is. My dream came true that I can be here now, I will give it all I’ve got".
