Full Time: Bayern 5-2 Frankfurt

The Bavarians were ultimately dominant for the entire game in Munich and the result reflects that.

Hinteregger scored two for Eintracht, but it was not enough to claw them back into the game

88' Kamada tries to go forward for Frankfurt but handles the ball

87' Cuisance

87' Cuisance shoots from range but is wide of the goal

86' Michael Cuisance and Joshua Zirkee come on for Joshua Kimmich and Kingsley Coman

84' If this game can be characterised by one thing then it's the calamitous defending displayed by both sides. Neither have been anything near to solid at the back

83' Kostic comes close! He plays a shot across the goal which is only denied by the bar

76' Bas Dost replaces Andre Silva whilst Erik Durm comes on for Danny Da Costa

74' It's technically a Hinteregger hat-trick....

Hinteregger can attack, but his defending is weak to say the least. He turns the ball into his own net after Gnabry touches it over trapp

73' Lucas Hernandez replaces Jerome Boateng

71' Double substitution for Frankfurt, Sow and Kamada come on for Rode and Gacinovic

67' How did he save that?

Gacinovic was in to make it 4-3 from close range but it's an incredible save from Neuer

65' Wonderful save from Kevin Trapp to deny Davies from close range

64' Serge Gnabry comes on for Ivan Perisic for Bayern Munich

63' Eintracht's pressure has now faded after Davies' goal

Alphonso Davies makes it four for Bayern!

60' Martin Hinteregger is now Eintracht's top goalscorer. 8 goals so far, all from corners

He's at it again! Martin Hinteregger, he's been doing it all season and he's done it again. Hinti makes it 2 from a corner

52' It's a set piece, it's another for Hinteregger! Eintracht's top scorer converts from close range

49' Worrying stuff from Eintracht Frankfurt here who are struggling to get anything from the game.

46' GOAL Bayern Munich 3-0

Perfect start for Bayern. Kingsley Coman is free on the right and plays in a perfect cross to Robert Lewandowski who finishes wonderfully with his head

46' The second half is now underway!

We are back and the second half has now commenced!

Eintracht have made a substitution, with Chandler replacing N'Dicka

Half-time Bayern Munich 2-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Bayern go into half time 2-0 up, much better than Eintracht so far.

The Eagles have really struggled, with Kevin Trapp their most active player so far.

Bayern have been very comfortable in how they play, often sitting back.

46' Filip Kostic tries to counter-attack but is judged to be offside

VAR Decision - Goal, no offside

The goal is being checked by VAR

GOAL 2-0 Bayern Munich

It's been coming for quite a while and Thomas Müller tucks the ball in after a good ball from Alphonso Davies

40' Better for Frankfurt who have now had a couple of good chances in the past few minutes. Bayern still dominating

38' If it wasn't for Kevin Trapp, Eintracht would be a few down already.

The Eagles' keeper is the only thing keeping them in the game at the moment.

36' Hinteregger put into the book for an outstretched arm that hit the face of Robert Lewandowski

35' Bayern enjoying the lions' share of everything in this game. Dominating in possession and making Frankfurt's defence have to work

33' Eintracht looking much better today than against Gladbach however, fighting back well against Bayern

30' Both sides seem very different in the Bundesliga's Geisterspiele. The fans of Bayern and Eintracht were both crucial parts that are now non-existant

27' Bayern are  by far the better of the two sides. As has been the story for the entire season, Eintracht just have not adapted to the departure of their attacking three in the summer and the repercussions can be seen throughout the entire squad

25' Eintracht struggling now with Bayern controlling the game

21' Bayern go forward, Perisic takes a shot from range but it is weak and doesn't trouble the keeper

20' Eintracht go froward. Gacinovic plays in a cross but Andre Silva just can't get to it

19' Bayern settling into the game now with most of the football in Eintracht's half

First goal of the evening. A good ball in from Thomas Muller and Leon Goretzka smashes the ball into the back of the net

14' Kevin Trapp a busy man already, stopping a good attempt from Benjamin Pavard

12' Bayern's corner is met by Robert Lewandowski, who cannons a shot off of the bar

11' Alphonso Davies works his way into the box, but cannot find Robert Lewandowski

10' Today's game is very close. Bayern have had chances to get forwards, but have not broken through the defence yet

8' Eintracht try to counter-attack after a Bayern corner but are caught out by Alphonso Davies and awarded a throw-in

7' Eintracht already looking much better than last week, keeping out most of Bayern's attacks

5' Good play from Alphonso Davies, using his quick feet to defend past two onrunning Eintracht players

4' A slow start from both sides

2' Eintracht better than last week.

Already a positive for the away side, as they have lasterd longer than 30 seconds without conceding!

Last meeting

The last time that the two met, Eintracht were famously 5-1 victors at the Commerzbank Arena.

The result condemned Niko Kovac to the end of his Bayern Munich tenure.

However, their form since then has been very different, and a similar result looks very unlikely.

Bayern Munich: Team News

After overcoming his knee injury during the pause in the season, Robert Lewandowski returned to first-team action last week. It's reasonable to presume that he will feature in Saturday's game.

Philip Coutinho and Corentin Tolisso are both confirmed injury doubts for the match, and will most likely not feature for Hansi Flick's side. Kingsley Coman and Ivan Perisic featured via the bench against Union and may be in contention for the starting lineup at the weekend.

It has been rumoured that Serge Gnabry and Thiago Alcantara are also doubtful for this weekend's game, but there has been no confirmation yet.

Both sides faired very differently in their first game after the restart. Bayern were comfortable victors away to Union Berlin, whilst two early goals condemned Eintracht Frankfurt to a 3-1 defeat against Borussia Mönchengladbach
