Villarreal are set to kick-start their summer transfer business with a one-year loan move for Real Madrid youngster Take Kubo.

Having spent last season on loan with Real Mallorca, Japanese talent Kubo impressed, providing the Islanders with four goals and five assists.

Returning to the Santiago Bernabeu following his loan spell, it has now been reported that a deal for the 19-year-old to join Villarreal is set to be announced by the club.

The deal is said to be announced either on Thursday or Friday with the Japan international set to become Unai Emery's first signing after taking over at the club last month.

Villarreal are also said to have beaten the likes of Sevilla and Real Sociedad to the attacking talent.

Kubo could be joined by Dani Parejo

Cadena COPE report that Villarreal have opened negotiations with Valencia and the midfielder's representatives over a summer move.

Valued at £18million by website Transfermarkt, Parejo's exit from Los Che is expected to be a significantly cheaper deal given that he is now 31-years-old and the club are keen to have a summer clear out.
