A hard fought win from Gareth Southgate's side to claim all three points and revenge from the World Cup defeats! 

Lukaku opened the scoring with a penalty, but Rashford leveled the game before half time and Mount's defected shot gave England all three points. 

There will be four minutes of added time!

On comes Sancho for Mount. 

So close from Rashford! He cuts past one, then two before sitting down Denayer, however, his shot flew just over the bar!

Kane misses a glorious opportunity to close off the game!

He heads wide from 6 yards out!

A flurry of chances for Belgium, however, still failing to find their way back into the game!

Lukaku breaks free but Dier does well to block his shot. 

So close from Belgium! 

De Bruyne picks out Carrasco with a wonderful pass. Carrasco lifted the ball over Pickford, but his shot would go inches wide!

 

The ball falls to Mount just inside the Belgium penalty area, the Chelsea midfielder cuts back onto his right foot sending a shot into the top right hand corner.  

The shot deflects off Alderweireld and loops over Mignolet to give Southgate's side the lead!

England have really grown into the game this half, Calvert-Lewin and Rashford are linking up well!

Calvert-Lewin falls down in the box, under pressure from Denayer, but the referee waves play on!

Calvert-Lewin sets up Rashford who runs at the Red Devils defence, the ball back to Calvert-Lewin is a good one, but his shot goes high and wide. 

Rashford gets us underway for the second half!

A story of two penalties at half time. Lukaku opened the scoring, after the Inter Milan striker was fouled in the box by Eric Dier. 

Rashford leveled the game before half time, converting the penalty after, Meunier pulled down Henderson in the box. 

Perhaps changes at the break for Gareth Southgate?

Mignolet climbs high and claims the ball.

Carrasco has the ball in the back of the net, however, he has been flagged offisde for an earlier passage of play. Let off for England. 

Belgium starting to get a hold of the game. Of course, De Bruyne, is the catalyst for their attacking prowess. 

Rashford whips in a dangerous cross from the left hand side, but the ball is met by Boyata who heads clear.

Calvert-Lewin, Danny Ings and Harry Kane are all leaving a lasting impression in the mind of Gareth Southgate, it will be interesting to see who gets the chance to shine this evening.

Having rested the majority of his first team side against Ivory Coast, Roberto Martínez will also have a fully fit squad to chose from. 

However, Thibaut Courtois and Dries Mertens have both withdrawn from the squad. 

Jadon Sancho, Ben Chilwell and Tammy Abraham will be welcomed back to the squad after breaking COVID regulations. However, all three have passed the necessary tests to join the team.  

Southgate has a fully fit squad to chose from, providing the 50-year-old with a selection headache after Conor Coady, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Danny Ings all impressing against Wales in midweek. 

The Three Lions kicked off their Nations League campaign with a shaky start; a draw with Denmark and a unconvincing 1-0 against Iceland sees Gareth Southgate's side currently second in the table. 

Perhaps England will be after revenge this evening after Belgium beat The Three Lions in the 2018 World Cup third-place match. 

Belgium, under Roberto Martínez, have started their Nations League campaign well, currently top of the group with 2 wins.
