Regular Midtylland goalkeeper Mikel Anderson is likely to miss out for the visitors and be replaced by veteran Jesper Hansen. 

There will be at least one excited visitor tonight as the Danish side's kit man is a huge Liverpool fan with a  liverbird tattoo and six stars as homage to the club's European successes.

Liverpool welcomed back Alisson Becker for Saturday's home win over Sheffield United. 

However, Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita and Joel Matip will all remain absent for tonight's match. 

Klopp may well use the opportunity to rotate his squad with the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri, Takumi Minamino and Neco Williams all potential starters.

FC Midjtylland are an innovate club with a brain coach, ball striking coach and sleep coach all in place, 

The clubs may never have met before but they do share a throw in coach in Thomas Gronnemark, expect high quality restart battles tonight. 

Liverpool will be desperate to avenge last seasons relatively disappointing Champions League venture as they were eliminated by Atletico Madrid at the last 16 stage. 

A win tonight would point go a long way to securing a safe passage out of the group stages. 

Unsurprisingly this will be the first meeting between the two clubs. 

Midjytlland only formed in 1999, by which point Liverpool had already amassed four European Cups. 

The Danish visitors also won their last league outing as manager Brain Priske's men came past Brondby 3-2
