Fenerbahce Vs Olyimpacos Preview - Europa League

The Greek giants will travel to Turkey on Thursday evening to play the second match of their Europa League campaign in the hands of high flying Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce currently has one point in the Europa League after they drew their opening game against Eintracht Frankfurt, and despite superstar Mesut Ozil giving his team the lead in the 10th minute, The Istanbul outfit struggled to take their chances with Frankfurt equalising and Fenerbahce missing a last-minute penalty. 

Fenerbahce is on fire at the moment, with many pundits across Europe praising the efforts of Vitor Pereira and Co. Top of the Super Lig and only losing one game so far, Millions of Fenerbahce fans worldwide including myself are looking forward to the months ahead. Who knows? Maybe a title or two may end up in the yellow canaries trophy cabinet come May. 

The Istanbul giants were in league action on Sunday when they defeated high flyers Hatayspor, with first-half goals from Record-breaking signing Diego Rossi and Left-Back Filip Novak helping them to earn the three points against the surprise outfit of the Super Lig

 Mesut Ozil was rested in the Super Lig on Sunday, appearing from the bench later in the game, but considering the World Cup winner's vast amount of experience playing in huge European ties', he is expected to return to the starting eleven this Thursday.

Returning Players: Jose Sosa, Marcel Tisserand, Nazim Sangare, Irfan Kahveci and Serdar Aziz are all back from injury. This is a huge Boost For Fenerbahce.

Due to a mostly healthy group, there is just one fitness problem for the Olympiacos Coach Pedro Martins to be concerned about. Konstantinos Fortounis (Cruciate Ligament Rupture) will not be playing this tie. 

Does anyone Remember El-Arabi? Arsenal fans will be familiar with this name, the veteran striker is expected to lead the line for Olympiacos with former Fenerbahce Star Valbuena behind him.
