Hertha's faithful have been on edge for the last several months as their club was tumbling down the table, but a recent change in form finds them in elventh and win against Hannover at the HDI-Arena on Friday night, the blue and whites could find themselves in the top half of the standings.

It has been a roller coaster of a season for the Hertha BSC faithful but they find themselves now comfortably above the dropzone sitting in eleventh on the Bundesliga table, just three points away from the top half of the league. The visitors, however, still have some work to do on their goal differential and they can lessen that stat against a Hannover side who has stumbled of late against some tough opposition. Hertha has found some goals coming from a lot of different footballers. This is a good sign that they are believing in themselves once again and playing wonderful football while remaining compact at the back having not conceeded a goal in just over 180 mintues. They will be heading into this match as clear favorites and if the blue and whites play like they have been in recent weeks, Hertha should come away with the three points.

Hannover, on the other hand, has been on a free fall recently sitting in the 15th spot, just three points away from the relegation play-off spot. Die Roten will have to be at their very best in order to beat Hertha and that starts at the back. In their last five matches, the hosts for tomorrow's clash, have given up eleven goals in the last five matches which averages out to just about two goals allowed per game. The one good thing about from this lapse in form is that Hannover have not stopped scoring as they have scored seven goals of their own, it's just their loss in concentration that has been their downfall as of late. Joselu will be looking to lead the line once more as he currently sits on eight goals -- which leads the club -- for the season in 26 apperances this season.

For both sides, a total of 16 footballers will be missing the action as Hertha and Hannover will be without eight squad members apiece. Hertha are still without a few key players in Ben-Hatira, Cigerci, Hosogai, Ronny, and Schieber. Somehow, Pal Dardai has kept his men focused enough to get by even with these hugely important footballers which should receive a lot of plaudits. Meanwhile, the hosts are without just a couple of their normal starting eleven and will be with most of their offensive firepower in this vital match.

Expect Hertha to dominate from the opening whistle. The confidence they have garnered over the last few weeks will continue to grow knowing that there will be no relegation fight for them this season. BCS can use their speed down both flanks to send in crosses towards their veteran forward who be hounding the shoulders of Hannover's central defenders all match. Unfortunately for Hannover, this will be another three points lost for them as the Reds just do not have enough about them in the attacking third of the pitch to really cause their opposition any threat.
