Trabzonspor winger Yusuf Erdogan's agent has came out and told media that "Lazio are following him."

Speaking to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Erdogan's agent Batur Altiparmak, insisted that "nobody" has made contact with him "so far" regarding his client and added that he knows "Lazio are following him."

He went on to say that a move to Europe could see his client "improve" and "become a top quality player" within "two years" in the short interview.

Stats say otherwise about what agent predicts

Erdogan has registered five goals and a single assist in 34 appearances for the Kaplanar this term in all appearances which hardly screams out he has potential however, despite this, he is still regarded as one of the nations brightest young prospects and has recently been linked to Galatasaray by Turkish media.

The former U21 international was called up to the first team from affiliate side 1461 Trabzon in 2014 after 54 appearances.

Already a relationship between clubs

Lazio may well take advantage of the relationship they and the six time Super Lig winners have in any potential approach. Last summer Luis Pedro Cavanda left the aquile for Trabzonspor and has came on leaps and bounds and since represented the Belgian national team on more than one occasion.

Erdogan is primarily a left winger but he can slot in at left back if required which will come in handy for Lazio who lack serious depth in both positions, particularly full back where injuries seem to hit hardest for Lazio.

The addition of Erdogan could see Lazio's frontline undergo a big makeover with Ricardo Kishna likely swapping sides in the likelihood of an Antonio Candreva departure while Keita Balde will either be played through the middle or a new striker will be brought in to replace Germany legend Miroslav Klose who isn't getting any younger.
