Zlatan Ibrahimović was the last star striker who stepped in the San Siro stadium as a powerful scorer. But this season, current forward Carlos Bacca has established himself as a key striker for AC Milan.

Now considered one of the best signings for the Rossoneri this season, the 29-year-old is expected to be given a new deal by his club. However, there might be a revolution in the front line of AC Milan.

AC Milan coach Sinisia Mihajlovic is counting in the Colombian striker as his main target man and as Corriere dello Sport reported, the club are willing to meet Bacca's agent to discuss any new deal.

Currently, Bacca Earns €3.5 million a year with clubs such as Bayern Munich and Arsenal reportedly looking for a way to sign the player and take him away from Milan.

He has scored 14 Goals in Serie A this season since a switch from Sevilla, keeping them alive for a possible European spot for next season.

According to Claciomercato.it, AC Milan are planning to replace most of their attacking players.

Their current forward options consist of players like Jeremy Menez, Luiz Adriano, M’baye Niang and also Mario Balotelli, who is still trying to convince the team to keep him from his loan from Liverpool.

However, the Italian's performances haven't even merited a position in the first eleven so far this season - contributing just one league goal in 14 league games.

Menez might also find himself away from the San Siro next season, with Keisuke Honda also facing an uncertain future with the team.

Revamping the squad

The Rossoneri are looking for possible replacements, with Ibrahimović reportedly one of those, with the former AC Milan striker's contract expiring with PSG in June.

Also on the list is Genoa striker Leonardo Pavoletti, who has scored 10 goals in 16 matches this campaign with Il Grifone.

Also, Alessandro Matri could have a way back to his former club next season. However, AC Milan may face a tough time in trying to convince these players to ply their trade at the San Siro next season.
