Piotr Zielinski's days as a Udinese player are undoubtedly numbered. After an impressive 2 year spell with Empoli, both Liverpool and Napoli have been interested in the midfielder, who was on international duty at Euro 2016 with Poland who were knocked out against Portugal on penalties last night.

The Zebrette's sporting director Nereo Bonato spoke with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli regarding the future of the 22 year old:

"The lad told me he’d make a decision after the Euros, so we’ll have important news in the next few days" Bonato started off saying.

He continued "There’s an agreement with Napoli, we hope that the lad will be able to agree with the Neapolitans, it’s what we want too."

It had been widely assumed that the Anfield outfit had all but sealed the deal but Napoli appear to have moved ahead. In recent days AC Milan have also came into the frame and have reportedly lodged an 11 million euro bid.

Udinese announced that Gabriele Angella has returned to the bianconeri after 3 years in England with fellow Pozzo family owned Watford for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old defender, who previously made 22 appearances for Udinese has agreed to a four year deal tying him down to the club until 2020.

Angella is the fourth addition to Giuseppe Iachini's side this summer after a duo of forwards in Hamdi Harbaoui, Stipe Perica and midfielder Seko Fofana joined in recent weeks.

While Angella returns, Valerio Verre won't be after Pescara made his loan move a permanent one for 4 million recently. Verre was not only one of the stars of the newly promoted delfini but one of the stars of Serie B on the whole. Verre had also been linked with Napoli as had teammate Gianluca Caprari who looks set for Inter Milan.
