A months-worth of Serie A action is in the books and all bar one side has a point to their name. Juventus and Genoa both have 100% records, although the latters isn't quite as impressive having played a game less after their matchday three game was postponed.
Sampdoria-Milan - Friday 19:45GMT
Sampdoria blew the lead away to a Francesco Totti and Edin Dzeko inspired Roma and surrendered their 100% record as a result. Milan on the other hand were undone by a late Stipe Perica volley against Udinese and lost their second consecutive game. Luis Muriel has been the star for La Samp this term and has scored a few, meanwhile Carlos Bacca has done the same for the Rossoneri. Both are likely to be key again. Andrea Tozzo and Carlos Carbonero are both doubts for the hosts, Milan on the other hand have four doubts themselves in Cristian Zapata, Andrea Bertolacci, Mati Fernandez and Luca Antonelli. Sampdoria will be eager to bounce back but Milan will arguably be more eager having lost two in a row as aforementioned.
Lazio-Pescara - Saturday 17:00GMT
Lazio and Chievo Verona shared the points last time out, while Pescara were on course to pick up a historic victory over Inter before Mauro Icardi scored a quickfire double late on to take all three points back to Milano. Keita Balde returned with a top performance and goal and will look to carry the form into this tie. Jean-Christophe Baheback was on the scoresheet last game for the delfini and could be the key to any success they could have. Luis Alberto and Moritz Leitner are being monitored by the hosts while the visitors have no injury woes.
Napoli-Bologna - Saturday 19:45GMT
Napoli breezed past Palermo 3-0 with thanks to Marek Hamsik and Jose Callejon goals while Bologna beat Cagliari 2-1. On Tuesday night, they were in European action and saw off Dyanmo Kyiv 2-1 away from home. Arek Milik starred then and it will be a toss up between him and Callejon to star again. Bologna won't be in for an easy game and will be relying on third choice keeper Angelo Da Costa to put in a top performance. Lorenzo Tonelli, Vlad Chiriches and Omar El Kaddouri will all miss the game for Napoli, like they did last week. Bologna have a long list of injuries including Godfred Donsah, who may feature if evaluated as fit.
Udinese-Chievo Verona - Sunday 11:30GMT
Udinese pulled off a shock victory over Milan while Chievo drew with Lazio, at their home which is becoming a tricky place for clubs to travel to. Perica was the hero of the game gone by and if he is afforded a starting berth could star again, otherwise Duvan Zapata will be expected to open his goalscoring account for the term at the fourth attempt. Valter Birsa, as always will be the key for the Flying Donkeys. Thomas Heurtaux's name heads the injury list for the Bianconeri as is joined by a couple others not quite as influential as himself. Chievo's Antonio Floro Flores could feature but is a doubt.
Crotone-Palermo - Sunday 14:00GMT
Crotone are the only pointless club left in the league and Palermo occupy the spot just above them with a sole point. Last time out, Crotone lost to Empoli while Palermo were hammered by Napoli. Raffaele Palladino has been the focal point for the smallest club in this years championship and Palermo will be calling on veteran Alessandro Diamanti to deliver the goods. Noe Dussenne is suspended for the hosting Squali and Nicolo Fazzi will miss out through injury.
Sassuolo-Genoa - Sunday 14:00GMT
Sassuolo were well beaten by Juventus in their last league fixture but won in Europe on Thursday night. Genoa's game with Fiorentina was postponed 28 minutes in due to adverse weather but the week before they convincingly beat newcomers Crotone. Gregoire Defrel will be back in the home sides lineup this game and will be looked to to provide the spark. Leonardo Pavoletti scored twice last time out and will look to add to his seasons tally. Domenico Berardi remains out for the Neroverdi and will be a sore loss, Stefano Sensi also is still sidelined. Santiago Gentiletti is in contention to return for the visitors however.
Cagliari-Atalanta - Sunday 14:00GMT
Cagliari were beaten by Bologna while Atalanta picked up their first victory of the season over Torino. Cagliari will hope that Marco Boriello can find his scoring boots again this time round, having not managed to get on the score sheet last weekend. Franck Kessie has been in spectacular form for the visitors and tops the Serie A scoring charts despite being just 19-years-old and a central midfielder. Daniele Dessena and no. 1 Marco Storari are both suspended for the game while Joao Pedro is doubtful for the hosts. Atalanta will be missing Carlos Carmona through suspension and will be missing Boukary Drame and Aleksandar Pesic. Emanuele Suagher on the other hand could return to the starting lineup after injury.
Torino-Empoli - Sunday 14:00GMT
Joe Hart's career in Italy didn't get off to the best of starts as his error played a part in Torino's defeat to Atalanta. Empoli saw of Crotone on Monday night 2-1, registering their first points and goals for that matter too. Iago Falque and Josef Martinez will be the key compenents to any success the home side have while evergoing Massimo Maccarone is still more than capable of causing damage to Torino for Empoli. The Granata will be again without key figures Andrea Belotti and Adem Ljajic for the tie against the Azzurri and Arlind Ajeti won't feature either. Empoli have just one missing in Roman Tchanturia and are otherwise a fully fit squad.
Inter-Juventus - Sunday 17:00GMT
Sunday's tea-time offering between the two is undoubtedly the big match of the matchday and is the first time the Derby D'Italia will be played out this season. Inter picked up their first victory on matchday three while Juventus continued their perfect record seeing off Sassuolo with little problems. Both were in action in Europe midweek, Juventus firstly drew off Sevilla before Inter suffered defeat to Israeli side Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Mauro Icardi is the obvious choice to star for Inter, not only is he the captain but he is the saviour on so many occasions, as seen last weekend. His compatriot Gonzalo Higuain is known for not turning up in big games but things could change now he's with the Bianconeri and should cause problems. Cristian Ansaldi could return to aid the Nerazzurri's full back woes while Marco Andreolli will play no part. Claudio Marchisio's name remains on the visitors injury list but they've not missed him all that much with Miralem Pjanic playing many blinders since his summer move.
Fiorentina-Roma - Sunday 19:45GMT
Fiorentina's game last weekend was postponed but they slipped past Chievo in the week beforeand. Roma left it late to beat Sampdoria as Totti scored from the spot in the dying embers to make it 3-2. Both were in action in the Europa League on Thursday night and both drew with PAOK and Viktoria Plzen respectively.
Paulo Sousa has all bar Matias Vecino at his disposal come Sunday while his opposite number Luciano Spaletti has three injuries, all in the defensive department. Antonio Rudiger and Mario Rui continue to recover from long term injuries while Thomas Vermaelen has joined them on the crocked list.
