With their draw against Valencia midweek, Barcelona set a new record with going 29 games unbeaten. They will look to make it going against Celta de Vigo who are currently in a slump as they haven't won in their last four games.

The last time these two teams played it was a 4-1 blowout by Celta de Vigo back in September.

Form

There isn't a team that is hotter than Barcelona at the moment. They have gone unbeaten in 29 straight games and are strong contenders to win the treble again. They will have all of their superstars back in action as Luis Enrique rested most of his starters midweek in the second leg of the Copa Del Rey semi-final as Barcelona entered the second leg up 7-0 on aggregate. They ended up with a 1-1 draw and will play Sevilla in the Copa Del Rey final in what will be a rematch of the UEFA Super Cup which was played back last summer.

Barcelona are also cruising in La Liga as they still have the lead in Spain with 54 points and have two games in hand on second place Real Madrid who are one point back. Barcelona still have three games to go before the first leg of their Round of 16 clash with Arsenal in the Champions League and with the race in La Liga closer than ever, Barcelona have to stay locked in.

Celta de Vigo will be looking for their second victory against Barcelona this season and it will be a huge victory for the team morale as they are slumping. Celta de Vigo have gone winless in their last four games including a disappointing in the Copa Del Rey semi-finals. Vigo bowed out to Sevilla on a 6-2 aggregate scoreline.

After falling behind 4-0 in the first leg, Celta Vigo tried to fight back in the second leg but only managed a 2-2 draw. Celta Vigo now have only La Liga to focus on as they are fighting for a spot in Europe next year. Celta Vigo are two points behind 5th place Sevilla and if they want to qualify for Europe, they will have to jump out of that slump in a hurry.

Team News

Both Lionel Messi and Arda Turan will be expected to be in the match squad for this after they were originally dealing with injuries. Messi just underwent a procedure on his kidneys and Turan was dealing with a foot injury.

Andreu Fontas, Sergi Gomez and Fabian Orellana are all expected to miss the clash for Celta Vigo.

What They're Saying

"They are a dangerous opponent; bold, brave, dominating all facets of the game and are attractive to watch." said Enrique to reporters in his pre-game press conference when asked about his thoughts about Celta Vigo (via Barcelona's team website).

Enrique also added in the same press conference: “They play with intensity, leave little space (for the opponent) and move the ball quickly. They are good both in attack and defence" (via Barcelona's team website).

Prediction

Barcelona are cruising and Celta Vigo are sliding. The fact that Nolito won't be playing is also a huge blow for Celta Vigo as well. Barcelona will take all three points.
