Azarenka juggernaught goes on

Victoria Azarenka continued her amazing form in Australia burshing aside 18-year-old Naomi Osaka 6-1 6-1. The match started with Osaka actually going a break up against the Belarussian before Azarenka went on to win the next 6 games to take the first set and ease the worry after the first game.

Her momentum continued into the second set, breaking straight away to all but seal the win. Going on to win five out of the next six games, Azarenka sealed the win to move into the fourth round, celebrating with the dab as she has done so recently. Having only conceded five games in total across her three matches so far, it is clear that Azarenka will take some stopping this year.

Keys moves on to fourth round

Madison Keys won against Ana Ivanovic in three sets in a match which was overshadowed by Ivanovic's coach Nigel Sears collapsing mid match. With the Serb a set up, Sears appeared to collapse whilst making his way up the stairs. With the match suspended pending news on Sears conditions, both players were given the option to postpone the match until the next day.

After confirmation that Sears was conscious the match resumed. Keys managed to fight back in the second set to take the match into a final set. Ivanovic started the set the better of the two taking a break lead before Keys again fought back to take the lead in the set before serving out the match.
