Home favourite and British number one, Andy Murray faces Canadian Milos Raonic in the Men's Singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday looking to win his second title.

Murray - having won the title before and with how he is playing - is the favourite for the match, but Raonic, who is having a breakthrough year, will have nothing to fear going into the match.

Murray will play in his third final at SW19, while Raonic will feature in his maiden grand slam final.

The match promises to be something special with both players coming through some tough matches to get to the final.

Murray aims for second Wimbledon crown

Murray began his campaign against fellow Brit Liam Broady, winning in straight sets before defeating Yen-Hsun Lu in the second round the same way. In the third round, Murray defeated Australian John Millman, once again in straight sets, before taking out Aussie Nick Krygios in the fourth round in three sets.

It wasn't until the quarter-final that Murray had his first real test as Jo-Wilfried Tsonga took him to five sets before Murray powered through. Murray then set up the final with Raonic by defeating Tomas Berdych in straight sets and now he will be looking to go on and finish the job.

Raonic aims to upset the odds

Raonic began his tournament against Pablo Carreño Busta and the big-serving Canadian came through it in straight sets. He then faced Italian Andreas Seppi but once again he was never troubled as he came through it unscathed.

In the third round, it was a battle of the big servers as Raonic came up against Jack Sock but he again advanced winning in straight sets. In the fourth round though Raonic was given a huge scare when he went two sets down against David Goffin, but the Canadian battled back to win in five sets.

In the quarter-final, Raonic came up against Sam Querry and he was once again tested but he came through it in four sets. The win meant he set up a semi-final against Roger Federer and it turned out to be an instant classic. Raonic battled backed from two sets to one down and showed his power to overcome Federer to book his place in his first grand slam final.

Raonic looking to avenge Queen's final loss

Before Wimbledon, Murray faced Raonic in the final at Queen's club and it turned out to be a fantastic match. Raonic took the first set 7-6 against Murray and was even 3-0 up in the second set as Murray was up against it.

Murray though from the brink of defeat fought back to take the second set 6-4 before winning the deciding set 6-3 to complete a remarkable comeback.

Raonic was gutted after that match and will be out for revenge against Murray on centre court on Sunday and he will have a lot of confidence that he can do it.

Therefore the match on Sunday becomes a very interesting matchup as both players are in peak form so the match could go either way as the crowd look forward to the match.
