Onazi trains with his new teammates after joining Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor continued with its preparation for the new season in the city of Gyor, Hungary where it faced Gyirmot. Trabzonspor won the contest 2-0 with Yusuf Erdogan scoring the first goal in the 27th minute while Joseph Printer rounded off the victory in the 79th with the second goal of the game.

After spending five years at the Stadio Olimpico, Onazi decided a change was needed and completed a reported five million euro transfer to Turkey.

Onazi played 20 times last season for Lazio, scoring two goals in the process- one against St. Etienne in the UEFA Europa League and scored against Empoli in the Serie A.

The recently married midfielder will now seek to focus on a new chapter in his career as the new Turkish League starts.
