Maria Kirilenko Withdraws From The Australian Open

Maria Kirilenko a former Australian Open Quarter Finalist has withdrawn from the tournament in Sydney with a knee injury.

Tennis star Maria Kirilenko has pulled out of the Australian Open in the New Year due to injury. The Russian who once made the Quarter Finals of the tournament back in 2010 has decide to withdraw from the tournament which starts on the 13th of January.

The 26 year old has also been a finalist at the Australian Open back in 2011 in doubles tournament.  A knee injury she sustained back in August is the problem again, hopefully she will be ready to get back on the court back in February time with the Australian Open finishing on the 26th of January.
