Star in a television series? Check! Star in a Disney Channel movie? Check! How about, have a night dedicated to your work? Check! After Friday night, all three career aspirations will already be accomplished by the talented Dove Cameron.
Cameron, who is a household name to Disney Channel fans everywhere, has soared to national stardom in a little over two years (following the pilot episode of Liv and Maddie) as she has not only been the lead actress in two Disney Channel Original Movies (Cloud 9 and Descendants), but has had three number one hits on the Billboard Kids Digital Songs chart ("Better In Stereo", "Count Me In", and "Rotten to the Core."). Therefore, with her popularity at an all-time high, the TV network has decided to give the gifted actress/singer her own night in the spotlight, known as Mal-oween.
Mal-oween, which begins at 6:00 PM EST on October 23, is a four-hour event that will emerse viewers in all things Dove Cameron.
Starting off with a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Disney's Descendants (Descendants: Set it Off), Mal-oween transitions to where her career took off with three "Monstober" episodes of Liv and Maddie. Later, the night finishes off with the Disney Channel movie of the summer: Disney's Descendants. Yet, unlike some marathons, viewers SHOULD not flip away during commercial breaks because during the "dead time" animated shorts from Descendants: Wicked World will be featured.
So if you are looking for a cozy night in, flip to Disney Channel to enjoy the laughs as well as the musical stylings of Dove Cameron.
