The duo Ana Patrícia and Rebecca is still ain the competition. They qualified for the quarterfinals and will face the Swiss duo: Verge-Depre, A./Heidrich or Huberli/Betschart.

Favorites to win the gold medal, the Brazilian duo leaves the competition prematurely. A shame. They had the ball of the game, but couldn't close. Birthday girl of the day, Duda couldn't score the final point and is left with a bitter taste in her mouth.

THE GERMANS:
Ludwig/Kozuch also qualified in second place, only from Group F. They were behind the Swiss: Huberli/Betschart. They also played three games, won two and lost one.
THE BRAZILIANS:
In the group stage, the Brazilians Agatha and Duda did well and qualified in second place, behind the Chinese duo Wang/X.Y.Xia. They won two matches and lost one, winning four sets and losing two.
ROND OF 16!
After three rounds in the group stage, it's time for the quarterfinals. Whoever wins will advance to the semifinals against the Cuban duo: Lidy/Leila or the Americans: April/Alix. The loser goes home and loses the chance to compete for medals in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
