There were three games that were featured events at the Nike Basketball 3 on 3, with two out of the three being championship games. VAVEL USA had the chance to interview the winners of the Men's 6 foot and Over champions, Crossover Elites.

We caught up with one of the players and asked him a few questions about the game. My first question was to Ernie Burries and I asked, "What was the gameplan for heading into the game? Burries responded, "it was to find the mismatch and utilize the players."

Then we asked Burries what was their gameplan for Sean Cunningham on See Why. Sean is a tall player that they thought might have given them trouble but ended up not being as big of a problem. Burries said, "Sean is a good player but it's more of a team game then individual." He also referred to the fact that Burries and Cunningham played together in college.

Cameron Clay was a problem for Crossover Elite in the post at the beginning of the game. That changed when Burries came in and commanded the paint. That prevented Clay from dominating and pushing around the Crossover Elite team. Burries also stated, "Cameron is a big guy but couldn't score on us."

The Crossover Elites had been to championship game four times in a row, but never won the title. They were like the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League, but then 2014 saw them end the losing streak and get over the hump for the title that evaded them.

When asked about repeating as champions, the Burries said, "I think we can, if we come back."
