Louisiana Tech is able to improve to 5-0 in C-USA while sending Middle Tennessee to 3-2 in conference play.

The Bulldogs come away with a 7 point win behind a big performance from Alex Hamilton. Junior guard Alex Hamilton scored 30 points and collected 6 rebounds as he led the way for La Tech. The Bulldogs would have no double doubles, but would have multiple players contribute in multiple ways. For example, guard Kenny Smith only had 2 points, but had 10 points and 7 rebounds. Raheem Appleby had 18 points. Forward Michale Kyser had 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Erik McCree only had 8 points after having a huge game for the Bulldogs last time out.

The Blue Raiders on the other hand, would only have one starter to score in double digit scorer. JaQuel Richmond, who started at guard, would score 14 points. The second highest total for a starter would be 7 points. As far as the bench goes, Jaqawn Raymond (11) and Reggie Upshaw Jr. (12) would do what they could to keep the game close, but in the end it wouldn't be enough as the Blue Raiders left Louisiana with a loss.

As conference play rolls on, The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will be taking on Old Dominion. As for the 5-0 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, they will try to stay perfect in conference play when they take on North Texas.
