Sometimes in basketball we see a little player have a big game. That would be the case for UL Monroe. Little in this case, would not be height related like it is in most cases. Majok Deng a junior forward for UL Monroe, is 6'10" and weighs 190lbs. Deng came into this game averaging 8.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. When this game was over Deng was walked off of the court with 14 points and 15  rebounds. Deng's slender frame wouldn't stop him from grabbing 4 offensive and 11 defensive rebounds. The Sudan native would lead the way for the Warhawks in their win.

Arkansas Little-Rock wouldn't have a great performance as they only saw one player score more than 10 points. That player would be Josh Haggins who scored 15 points. After coming off the bench and playing 27 minutes Haggins went 5-12 from the field. If the Trojans could have gotten one or two more players to have a performance like Haggins, the final score would have been closer, or may could have even went the other way.

With this game included UL Monroe is now 5-1 in Sun Belt play and 11-6 overall. The Warhawks will take on in-state foe Louisiana Lafayette in their next game. As for the Trojans now 6-10 and 1-5 in Sun Belt Play, their next opponent will against the South Alabama Jaguars.
