The second day of the NCAAW Tournament had tons of action. It featured one upset and had some thrilling games. The top storyline of the day's games was, how would unbeaten Princton be able to fair? Would Princeton be win the first game and prove that they were a potential snub in seeding? Another storyline, would top seeded Connecticut be like the other top seeds and win in a blowout? Saturday's action not only had those storylines but many more. Let's take a look at a quick summary of the women's hoops.

The first game was North Carolina defeating Liberty 71 to 65. Liberty, who was the 13th seed, was trying to become the second 13th ranked team to win a game in this tournament. North Carolina the 4th ranked seed was led by Latifah Coleman and Allisha Grey with 19 points a piece. Liberty made a game out of it and North Carolina was simply dominated on defense. Liberty had a large rebounding advantage over North Carolina, the biggest margin the Tar Heels had given up all season. However, through grit, Sylvia Hatchell's bunch prevailed, and will face Ohio State in the second round of the tournament in the Greensboro region.

Also in the Greensboro region, red hot Florida Gulf Coast who is a 7th seed defeated 10th seeded Oklahoma State 75 to 67. Florida Gulf Coast has now won an impressive 26 straight. Kaneisha Atwater was the reason that the streak is still alive. That winning streak is the third longest with UConn and Princeton ahead of them. Her 26 points lifted the Owls over the Cowboys. Roddricka Patton's 23 points led Oklahoma State in scoring. Florida Gulf Coast is looking to keep the winning streak alive to 27 games in the second round.

The biggest game on Saturday came from the Albany region. That game featured the undefeated eighth ranked Princeton taking on ninth ranked Green Bay. Princton was out to prove whether they could actually make a significant run or whether the easy Ivy League schedule would cost them. Most college basketball fans were pulling for them including Barack Obama whose niece plays on the team. In the end, Princeton would have perfection as they were victorious by the score of 80 to 70. Michelle Miller's 20 points, Annie Tarakchian's 19 points was the first reason why they won. The second reason, the rebounding. Princton outrebounded Green Bay by nearly 20 rebounds. Mehryn Kraker led Green Bay with 21 points. Princeton will face top seeded Maryland on Monday in round two.

The upset of the night occurred in the Greensboro region. Sixth ranked Texas A&M saw an very early exit from the tournament. 11th ranked Arkansas-Little Rock beat the Aggies 69 to 60. Taylor Gault scored a season-high 25 points, Kiera Clark had 22 for Arkansas-Little Rock. Here's what the head coach had to say after the victory: "Tops right now," he said. "Top game. It's unbelievable, playing against a friend, playing in the NCAA tournament. It was fun. And to play as well as we did. We played great, and we deserved it." Texas A&M tried to cut at the defecit as if lay with changes but were simply flat and ended up short.

Finally, the final game was the number one ranked Connecticut taking on 16th ranked St. Francis BRK. Morgan Tuck dropped 12 of 13 shots with 26 points and Breanna Stewart had 17 points and 10 rebounds all for UConn. St. Francis BRK was embarrassed by the Huskies by an 89 to 33 blowout. UConn had a point differential of 68-6 points in the paint. They also shot 70 percent as opposed to the 22 percent.
