LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will have a lot of figuring out to do if they hope to best the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

Game 1 loss should be motivating

In Thursday's game, the Cavaliers showed signs of a struggle, as only a few members of the starting five managed to break double digits in scoring. The only exclusion was J.R. Smith, who was virtually non-existent on offense -- he scored three points and offered close to nothing in terms of counting stats. James and company found no help off the bench either -- only 10 points scored collectively.

In Game 2, no one should be surprised if LeBron rises like a phoenix from the ashes and takes control. He's undefeated in Game 2's since 2009, which shows his ability to break the momentum of opposing teams. James coming back from a 15-point loss in Game 1 would help the Cavaliers retain some morale for their trip back home, and as the leader of the team, James would be the most responsible for that winning mentality. Along with Tyronn Lue, James has to be vocal with the rest of the Cavaliers in order to spark some sort of scoring rebirth. In no way can the Cavaliers allow the Warriors' bench to outscore them by such a huge margin again.

Splash Brothers rejuvenated

It's near impossible for Steph Curry and Klay Thompson to repeat a poor performance. All season, they've shown just how consistent they can be when it comes to shooting. All season they've had off nights and come right back to have explosive shooting performances that shake the NBA world.

Coming off a Game 1 victory, Curry and Thompson will likely take advantage of the momentum the Warriors have and hurl up shots just as frequently as they always do. Thompson just set a record more most threes made in the NBA in Game 6 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and to have that accolade under his belt shows just how lethal he can be when shots are falling.

The bench had a great night for Golden State in Game 1, and it's not entirely unrealistic to see another great performance from them again. However, it just seems inconceivable to think that Curry and Thompson won't redeem themselves in Game 2, which would mean Cleveland is thinking a lot about sticking to them tightly on defense.

Prediction: Cleveland Cavaliers win Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
