Just days after signing for AS Roma for €8.5million euros, Andrea Bertolacci is on the move again he has now signed for AC Milan for €20million on a five-year deal.

One of the craziest transfers you'll see all summer as Roma sign a player and sell him a few days later for a profit of just over €11million without him making a single appearance or taking part in one training session in his second spell at the club.

Profit made by the Giallorossi

Bertolacci was once at Roma, though he never made an appearance in three seasons before joining Lecce on loan. It was in that two-year loan move where he impressed the most. He went from strength-to-strength with Genoa as he's already made almost 100 league appearances for them. His excellent form for Genoa has earned him two caps so far for the Italian national side. Joining the new revolution at AC Milan is exactly the move Bertolacci needs as he is already being compared to former AC Milan legend Andrea Pirlo

Bertolacci has given up the chance of UEFA Champions League football with Roma which seems like a strange decision but Milan will not mind at all, as they've picked up one of the freshest talents in the new batch of Italian superstars.

Fresh talent brought in for the Rossoneri

The one question that remains to be answered is why Milan never came in for him before Roma bought him because now they've probably overspent on a player they could've picked up for more than half of what they ended up paying. It has been well-documented that Milan need to completely reshape their squad after their disastrous tenth place finish last season and signing a player like Andrea Bertolacci is exactly what they needed.

AC Milan have been linked with many different players every day since the season ended but they've finally made their first big signing, although it's a strange and unexpected deal, it's still a fantastic move by Milan.
