When you first look at him you can see that's he's an intimadating force inside the ring. Sledge is a independent wrestler who is wrestling all over the state of California for various promotions. Sledge is also followed by Matt Hardy on Twitter, so you can say things are getting pretty serious. Sledge is a former Vendetta Pro Tag Team Champion with his best friend JD Horror. According to CageMatch.net, Sledge and Horror went by a name of The Creepshow. Sledge also earned a WWE tryout which you will learn more about in the interview we here at VAVEL USA conducted with him.

VAVEL USA: What got you into wrestling?

Sledge: I have always been a very big fan of pro wrestling. I remember looking it with my dad when I was younger.

VAVEL USA: How long have you been a fan of wrestling?

Sledge: Wrestling fan? [I've been a fan] since I was 3 years old.

VAVEL USA: Did you come up with your in ring gimmick?

Sledge: I did come up with it [the gimmick]. I was playing in a band back in the day [where] I [would] hit the drums so hard they called me hammer so to hammer and made sledge.

VAVEL USA: What's your opinion on the WWE, what they're doing with NXT and their Performance Center fairing so well?

Sledge: I don't work for them but I know a few people that do and I have also had a tryout last year. I think what they are doing at the center is awesome. I think the center to [itself] is awesome and it was really cool to go there and [have a] tryout.

(Remember now that the WWE always returns back to talent they've already seen tryout when looking for new employees to add to their roster and/or in a backstage role.)

VAVEL USA: Is there anyone you just simply admire looking them work in the ring?

Sledge: There is some many people I admire in the ring and look all the time I can't just say one.

VAVEL USA: What has been your most memorable moment while wrestling?

Sledge: I also have a lot of those [memorable moments]. Wrestling Gangrel to tearing the house down with Will Mack to winning the tag belts with my best friend JD Horror. I have a lot in my 3 year cereer and I have a lot more to come.

(Sledge and JD Horror's Tag Team Title reign lasted for 42 days, starting in January and it ending in March. Wrestling Gangrel would be a honor for anyone to work with. Everyone had better remember the name of Sledge, you could see him do some big things in the very near future.)

VAVEL USA: What region do you do most of your wrestling?

Sledge: I wrestle all over California so I don't [really] have a region.

VAVEL USA: Do you prefer working alone in the ring or as a tag team?

Sledge: It does not matter to me as long as I'm wrestling, I could be tagging or wrestling alone as long as I'm wrestling and the fans are happy.

(That answer alone should tell you that this guy is going places. All he cares about his the fans and producing a good product. That's what every major wresting company would help for. He also has a pretty solid gimmick that we here at VAVEL USA personally love.)

VAVEL USA: Do you have a fellow wrestler that you feel like you do your best work with?

Sledge: There are a lot of wrestlers out there I do great work with.

VAVEL USA: Where would you like to see your wrestling career in 5 years?

Sledge: Where do I see my self in 5 years? Good question. I hope wrestling around the world or opening my own wrestling company.
